DFPI — Victim narrative (California)
A California resident was approached on Instagram by Moneybynora, who claimed to be an investment advisor. Moneybynora convinced the resident to invest crypto assets on the trading platform, Xperiatrade.com, claiming they would be able to generate profits. Following Moneybynora’s instructions, the victim opened an account on the platform and began trading.
