DFPI — Victim narrative (California)
A California resident reports being hacked after clicking a link in an email to https://withdrawal.choice-blockfi.com, believing they were gaining access to BlockFi’s refund claims program. Instead, after being prompted to enter login information to validate their crypto asset account, more than $250,000 in Polygon and Ethereum was stolen. Please note the web domain appears to be named in a manner that bears resemblance to BlockFi’s refund claims program. This is not to be confused with BlockFi or any of its efforts to administer refund claims. The website https://withdrawal.choice-blockfi.com
