DFPI — Victim narrative (California)
A California resident reports using a purported cryptocurrency exchange that operated on the website web3-om.com. The resident linked their cryptocurrency wallet to the exchange believing they would make profits through a liquidity mining pool offered on the exchange. Instead, the resident’s cryptocurrency wallet was emptied, and they have not been able to recover any of their cryptocurrency. The websites are no longer operational.
