DFPI — Victim narrative (California)
The victim met a woman on the online dating app Tinder. She offered to show the victim how to make money spot trading gold. The scammer had the victim open an account on the Meta Trader 5 trading platform and simulate some trades, which showed the victim making money. The scammer also directed the victim to open an account on another platform, trader.bfy-c.co.
