DFPI — Victim narrative (California)
A California resident reports on their experience with the crypto asset trading platform, tinvault.com. The victim deposited money on the platform, traded crypto assets, and believed they were making profits. But when the victim tried to withdraw the funds, the website said their account was restricted. The victim has been unable to recover their funds and the website is no longer operational. All told, the victim lost more than $1,000 on the platform.
