The victim sent approximately $15,000 worth of cryptocurrency to a trading platform to trade and earn money. But when he tried to withdraw some funds, the platform’s customer service rejected his request, saying he needed to pay taxes or approximately $23,000 first. After he paid that amount, customer service told him it would take 15 business days to complete the tax deduction. He waited more than 2 months, and now the customer service won’t respond anymore. The company operated the website at rudolfstarkeps.com.
