DFPI — Victim narrative (California)
A Californian reports trading crypto assets on the platform located at piwbit.com. Over time, the victim believed their balance had grown to about $2.8 million. However, when the victim tried to withdraw their money, the site told them their account had been frozen on suspicion of insider trading. The site gave the victim a questionnaire to fill out regarding their trading history and asked whether anyone was coaching them on their successful trades.
