A California resident joined a WhatsApp group for Bitcoin trading. At some point, Caroline from the group reached out to the victim and asked to communicate directly through the Telegram app. Then, Caroline told the victim about a crypto asset exchange called NRG and helped them set up an account and transfer funds into it.
