A California consumer reports being unable to withdraw funds they deposited on a crypto platform called Melloncrypto.com. The platform informed the consumer that they could not withdraw their investment unless they paid previously undisclosed “release fee[s].”Despite paying the “release fee[s],” the consumer has not recovered any of their funds.
