DFPI — Victim narrative (California)
A California consumer complained to DFPI about the J-1 Parker AI Investment Club. The consumer opened a trade account with the club and transferred crypto assets there via the website https://wap.Agimx.Com. At one point, the consumer believed they had $21,000 in their account. But when they tried to withdraw funds from the account, the website notified the consumer that their account was locked and demanded they deposit $6,000 to unlock it. The consumer was also asked to provide a copy of their driver license in order to make a withdrawal.
