Two Californians report about a short-term trading platform located at https://pc.tickmillgloballtd.cc/#/. The first victim reports meeting an individual through Tinder and beginning a relationship. Eventually, the Tinder friend encouraged the victim to invest in crypto assets through the platform. Following the friend’s instructions, the victim opened an account and deposited funds. But when the victim tried to withdraw money, the platform demanded that the victim pay short-term capital gains tax first.
