A California resident reports meeting an individual on a dating app who then suggested moving the conversation to WhatsApp where their relationship developed. At some point, the individual convinced the victim to invest in a crypto asset trading platform, at Hikkod.com. Following the individual’s instruction, the victim opened an account and transferred money to the platform. The individual claimed to have hired an analyst to provide tips in trading crypto options.
