DFPI — Victim narrative (California)
A California resident reported a trading platform they accessed through an app on their phone which offered trading in forex, metal, oil, CFD, and crypto markets at https://pc.hagradg.cc/#/?from=/user. Initially they invested $100 on the platform and saw their balance reach over $1,500. But when they tried to withdraw funds, the platform demanded that they deposit an additional $900 to release their funds. The victim complained to the platform about this and was promptly locked out of their account. They have not been able to recover any of their funds and the website is no longer in operation
