DFPI — Victim narrative (California)
A Californian reports fucoins.com, which they were introduced to by a Whatsapp chat group called, “Market Analysis Forum D8”. In the group, a crypto asset trading guru named Mr. Oliver shared investment advice and trading signals. Mr. Oliver’s assistant, Anne, introduced the group to fucoins.com, where members could trade crypto assets based on Mr. Oliver’s signals.Following these instructions, the victim created an account on fucoins.com and began trading. But the site showed they lost a huge amount of money on their trades. The site then told the victim it would reimburse 50% of their money
