DFPI — Victim narrative (California)
A Californian reports sending funds to the crypto trading platform, E Crypto Trading, at https://e-cryptotrading.com/. The victim believed they were making profits trading on the platform. But when they tried to withdraw funds from the platform, the platform’s customer service demanded the victim pay a “processing fee” charge of roughly $8,000 within 20 days to withdraw their funds.
