A California resident reports that they were introduced by an individual on Twitter to a purported cryptocurrency exchange operating under the domain name www.desktradingpro.com. At the direction of the person they met online, the resident created an account on the exchange and transferred crypto assets to it. The resident was then told by representatives from the exchange that trades would not be visible until they were fully executed.
