A California resident reports meeting an individual on a dating app, who asked to move the conversation to WhatsApp. Eventually, the romantic interest told the victim they would teach how to trade cryptocurrency to earn extra income. The victim wired money to their romantic interest who showed the victim how to purchase crypto assets and to deposit into an account on the trading platform, define-gifts.com.
