DFPI — Victim narrative (California)
Several Californians report a WhatsApp investment group called DAF Finance Institute. The group claimed to offer a new crypto trading product they had developed called “AI Profit Algorithms 4.0”, available through a crypto asset trading platform referred to as OPACOIN, OPNCOIN, or OPN-GO. The group claimed they had received funding for the product from legitimate sources such as FINRA, and that the product was in the final stages of testing. DAF Finance Institute promised members that the product would allow them to trade cryptocurrencies before the initial coin offering (ICO’s) and would help
