DFPI — Victim narrative (California)
An anonymous person reports using an app at cp-berage.com after discovering the app through someone on Facebook who promoted the app as a place to invest in crypto using “AI arbitrage.” Subsequently, the individual invested funds on the app and believed their investment was growing. However, the individual was barred from withdrawing any funds until they paid a supposed tax. The individual has not recovered any of their money and the website is no longer operational.
