DFPI — Victim narrative (California)
A California resident reports creating an account on the online crypto asset trading platform bitstake.su to invest in cryptocurrency. But when the victim tried to withdraw their profits, the website demanded they pay fees. The victim paid the fees but still could not withdraw their profits. The victim has been unable to recover any of their funds from the platform and the website is no longer operational.
