DFPI — Victim narrative (California)
A California consumer reports meeting an individual identifying himself as Professor Dolan and his assistants, Denise and Katie, on WhatsApp. Dolan claimed he would teach the group about cryptocurrency for free for two months, after which he would charge a 20% fee. He and his team sent daily trading signals and encouraged members to invest through a crypto asset trading platform called BitiCrypto.
