DFPI — Victim narrative (California)
A California resident reports seeing an Instagram profile whose "bio" displayed a promo code for the BitexOne.com, purportedly offering 0.12 BTC to sign up with the code ABTC12, with the Instagram account featuring various photos of Elon Musk. The resident visited the site, provided their personal information, but did not receive the promised crypto assets. The website is no longer operational.
