A California victim was initially contacted by “Irina” through a "wrong number" text message. Irina began building a romantic connection with the victim before introducing the topic of finances and offering assistance to make money. She directed the victim to download birbayap.vip or birbayos.vip and send cryptocurrency into the provided wallets.The victim saw what appeared to be a successful transaction as Irina added funds to their account.
