DFPI — Victim narrative (California)
A California residents reports meeting “Dylan” on a dating app who suggested they move their conversations to WhatsApp. At some point, Dylan brought up the topic of investing in crypto assets. Dylan convinced the victim to open an account on the trading platform operating at 2bridgeio.com and sell some of their other investments to transfer funds onto that platform. The victim deposited funds on 2bridgeio.com and attempted to withdraw, but has been unable to recover any of their funds. Thewebsite is no longer operational. All told the victim lost more than $550,000 on the platform.
